Advancing access to
high-quality, evidence-based addiction treatment.
The Northwest Society of Addiction Medicine (NWSAM) is a chapter of the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) comprised of Montana, North Dakota, and Wyoming. All members of ASAM are eligible to be members or NWSAM, no matter what state you live in, by designating when you sign up for ASAM membership.
NWSAM represents the interests of providers of Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment and their patients. We seek to expand knowledge and support for treatment providers, and to improve access and decrease barriers to treatment for those with SUDs.
The NWSAM meets regularly via Zoom for a Members Forum. All interested parties are invited to attend. A meeting announcement is sent via email to all NWSAM members. If you are not a NWSAM member and would like information about how to attend, please fill out the form in the Contact section for details.
The next scheduled Members Forum is August 30th, 2021, at 7 PM MDT. Members Forums are a great way to keep up with your colleagues, learn the latest developments both nationally and locally in the area of Addiction Medicine, and to ask questions of some of our officers and member who have extensive experience and knowledge about ADM.
